Anthony DePinto, 86, passed away peacefully on Dec. 29, 2019, at Princeton Medical Center. He was born in Bari, Italy, and came to the United States to Hoboken, N.J., in the early 1950's, then moved to West Brighton, then Castleton Corners, Staten Island. Since 1992, he lived in Millstone Township, N.J.
Anthony retired from NYCHA as an inspector in the early 1980's. Anthony enjoyed landscaping and gardening. He was very good working with his hands. Anything that he built was with great pride and perfection.
Throughout his life he traveled the world and spoke several languages.
He was predeceased by his son, Anthony Nicholas, in 1991.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie; his loving daughter, Patti Ruggirello (Joe); grandchildren, Joseph and Danielle; and siblings, Corrado, Gerardo, Giacomo, Giovanna, Gina, and Rosa.
Funeral is from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Friday at 10:30 a.m., with 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Help of Christian's RC Church. Friends & family may visit Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
