William N. Caldwell, 77, of Staten Island, NY., passed away May 10, 2020 in Hollywood, FL. following a brief illness.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY., the son of  William and Florence Lewis Caldwell. William was a retired Captain with the NYPD. He was a former union president of the NYC Housing Superior Officers Association and a member of  NYPD Captains Endowment  Association and Sergeant at Arms of the New York PD 1013 Association. William is survived by his children and their spouses;  Doreen Caldwell ( James Withrow), Scott Caldwell ( Alicia ), William Caldwell ( Kimberly ), Matthew Caldwell (Fernanda); his siblings, Carol Caldwell Forma, Linda Caldwell Dahlquest and Frankie Caldwell; his grandchildren, Cerina, Matthew, Mackenzie, James, Payton and Flora.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Burial will take place at the Ocean View The Cemetery Beautiful in Staten Island, NY.
