Virginia "Ginny" Ledwon

Virginia “Ginny” Ledwon is the daughter of Angelina Mauriello. She was born November 8th 1949 in Staten Island.  Ginny is survived by her husband Werner Ledwon junior, her two daughters and sons inlaws Melissa and David Parmegiani and Christina Marie and Albert Passaretti III , her grandchildren Joseph Parmegiani, David Parmegiani, Albert Salvatore Passaretti IV and Christal Marie Passaretti as well as many family and friends.

Ginny is a graduate of Port Richmond high school and worked as a hairdresser. She loved making people feel and look great. She was loved by all who knew her. On April 12 1969, Ginny married Warner Ledwon junior. On May 4th 1974 an October 10th 1983 they welcomed their two beautiful daughters, who are most important to her life, into the world .

Ginny was a devoted grandmother of four grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, gardening, painting, photography and spending time with her family. Even after Ginny was diagnosed with cancer, she remained brave and strong, even in her final days.  Her beautiful life will always be cherished.

Funeral from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Monday 9:00 a.m,  Mass of Christian Burial at OLHC RC Church 10:00 a.m.  Friends may visit Sunday 2-6pm.
