Vincent Malandrino

August 17, 1938 – February 5, 2025

Vincent Malandrino, son of Louis Malandrino and Mary Culotta, passed away on February 5, 2025. Born on August 17, 1938, Vincent was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many.

Vincent proudly served as a police officer with the NYPD for over 20 years. He began his career at the 90th Precinct and retired from the 123rd Precinct. Throughout his life, he remained an active member of his community, participating in the Royal Flamingo Swim Club, Knights of Columbus, AARP, and the Friendship Club.

Vincent was happily married to his beloved wife, Argelia Malandrino, for 50 wonderful years. Together, they built a life on Staten Island, where they raised their three children: Vincent Malandrino Jr. , Deanna Longo and Gina Giordano. He was a proud grandfather to Anthony, Angela, Michael, Samantha, Gianna and Mario and a great-grandfather to Remy.

Vincent was a lifelong fan of the New York Mets and New York Giants, and enjoyed spending time with his family aboard his boat “Pops Little Miracle” for many summers.

In his later years, Vincent found joy and companionship with Francine O’Lenick. His wisdom and unwavering love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Vincent is survived by his sister, Rosie Delvechio, and his brother, Louis Malandrino.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Foundation.
