Valerie Tinelli-Femiano

Valerie Jean Tinelli-Femiano, 65, of Staten Island, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 24, 2023.

Valerie was born on January 29, 1958 to Phyllis & Frank in Bronx, NY. She graduated from Kingston High School and went on to study accounting at Le Moyne College.
Valerie loved accounting but she loved working with people even more. So, she worked as a Human Resources Manager for the majority of her career life.
Valerie had one daughter, Nicole, who was her pride and joy. She absolutely loved being a mother. It was her life long dream. Valerie was a phenomenal mother.  She dedicated her life to her daughter. Valerie’s world changed when she became a grandmother to her daughter, Nicole’s, twins in 2019. She loved being with Francesca and Marco.
Valerie enjoyed being with her daughter, family and friends. She loved cooking and going the extra mile around holidays. She was an amazing homemaker. We will miss her greatly.
Valerie was predeceased by her parents, Phyllis and Frank. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Femiano Ayala and husband, Daniel. Her grandchildren Francesca and Marco. Her sisters, Christine Wells and Linda Heffernan and their families.

Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Holy Child, 4747 Amboy Road, Staten Island, New York.
