STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Thomas Wagner, 50, a loving and devoted father and all around family man, died Friday at Staten Island University Hospital, Prince's Bay.

Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Wagner moved to New Springville in 1966, then Great Kills in 1990 before settling in Annadale in 2008.

He worked as a stock broker for Legends Securities in Richmond Valley.

Mr. Wagner graduated from St. John's University in Grymes Hill with a degree in accounting from the college of business there. He graduated from St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School in Huguenot.

He was a member of The Knights fraternity while at St. John's.

Mr. Wagner was athlete and enjoyed sports especially playing touch and tackle football.

He attended Holy Child R.C. Church in Eltingville.

Mr. Wagner is survived by his wife of nine years, the former Gina Sciannameo; his sons, Andrew and Jesse; his daughters, Elyssa and Nikki; his father, Andrew Wagner; a brother, Edward Wagner; his sisters, Judy Wagner-Durak and Roseann Palermo and his grandmother, Anna Martorano.

The Bidell Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, is handling the arrangements, which includes a 10 a.m. mass Tuesday at Holy Child followed by a burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Pleasant Plains.



Services: A 10:00 AM Mass of Christian burial will take place on August 20, 2013 at Holy Child R.C. Church. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation: Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home Sunday August 18,2013 and Monday August 19, 2013 from 2-4-& 7-9 PM.

Memorials: In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Joey's Little Angels , 223 Sharps Lane,Hamilton New Jersey 08610 in Thomas' name.

Cemetery: Resurrection Cemetery (Staten Island)
