Thomas Turner

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Tom Turner (79) passed away peacefully on April 26, 2022 of natural causes at his home in Staten Island, NY surrounded by all his loved ones.

Tom was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1942.  Tom was a proud and dedicated firefighter of the FDNY for over 32 years, retiring in 1993. He loved life and lived it to its fullest.  He was known to all as a loving, charming, thoughtful, and kind man.

Tom is survived by his wife, Cathy, his son, Thomas (Nancy), his daughter, Lauren (James), grandson, Thomas; his sisters and brothers, Pat (Jerry) Curiale, Millie Bollman, Mary Morrone, John (Roseann) Turner, Arthur (Joanne) Turner and all his many beloved nephews and nieces.

Visitation with a Memorial Service will take place at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, 7447 Amboy Road on Thursday, April 28th from 2-4PM and  7-9PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to The First Bible Church, 6200 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY 10309.
