Theresa Stavola

Theresa Stavola, 87, died June 25, 2017. Born in Brooklyn, Theresa moved to Staten island in 1969 to Bulls Head, then moved to Whiting, NJ, in 1992. She was a cashier at Pathmark on Forest Avenue. Theresa loved cooking and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved traveling to Atlantic City and playing the slot machines. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank. She is survived by her children, Angela Castellano, James Stavola, Vincent Stavola, Maria Battista; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral is from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial is at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Green Park Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
