Susan R. Butler

Susan R. Butler, 75, passed away on February 26, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 17, 1950 to John and Margaret (nee Vikara) Butler in Staten Island. Susan participated in beauty pageants, where she was a winner earning the title of Miss Maritime Queen. For over 40 years, she worked as an office manager for an international shipping company.

Anyone who knew her would laugh about how particular she was. She always knew what she wanted and settled for nothing less. She loved spending time with her dog, Cali, and was loved dearly by her friends and family. She was a wonderful sister to John, a kind sister-in-law to Karen and Debbie, and a loving aunt to Michael and godmother to Kristin and Jennifer. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Susan was predeceased by her mother Margaret; her father John; and her brothers, Eugene (Butch) and Dennis.

She is survived by her brother John; sisters-in-law Karen and Debbie; nephew Michael; and goddaughters Kristin and Jennifer.
