Stephen L. Paulucci

Stephen Lee Paulucci was born in Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, New York on the 4th of July 1961. Stephen was one of ten children, five boys and five girls. He was the fifth born child of Henry and Shirley Paulucci.

 In his youth, Stephen went to St. Rose of Lima Elementary School on Parkville Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Midwood High School in Brooklyn, New York and graduated in three years from their Honors Program. Stephen went on to become a model for Barbizon and worked in the United Nations. He loved living in NYC and all it had to offer. He enjoyed sports and was a lifelong fan of the New York Mets and the Dallas Cowboys. Stephen also appreciated music with some of his favorite bands being Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. In addition, he was an avid swimmer and beachgoer.  Stephen died peacefully on Flag Day, the 14th of June 2024 at Calvary Hospice in Bronx, New York after a brave, longtime battle with cancer. 

Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Henry Paulucci in 1993 and his mother Shirley E. Paulucci in 2015, his brothers: Henry Paulucci in 1987, Eugene Paulucci in 1993, John Paulucci in 2013 and his sister Christine Walcott in 2020. Surviving are his sisters Marguerite Melofsky, Catherine Donohue and her husband Gerard Donohue, Shirley D. Paulucci, Teresa Paulucci and his brother Raymond Paulucci and his wife Zoili Paulucci. Also surviving are his nephews, Steven Walcott and family, Thomas Walcott and family, Jonathan Walcott, and his niece Elisha Sussman. 

Stephen was a down to earth, free-spirited, highly intelligent individual who loved to talk about family, friends, and life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The funeral will be from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, both in Tottenville, New York. Interment will be done in a private ceremony.
