Stephen Maklari

Stephen Maklari 64, of Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly Tuesday morning January 30, 2024 at his home in Mount Pocono. 

Born in Staten Island, New York on February 27, 1959 he was the son of the late Stephen B. and Frances E. (Rock) Maklari.   Stephen was educated at Tottenville High School, Staten Island, New York and spent his working career as a drywall finisher in residential and commercial construction. 

Stephen was of the Catholic faith, was a loving husband and cherished the time he spent with his son. He enjoyed motorcycles, playing computer games and fishing. 

Surviving is his wife of 35 years, Pamela (Cooke) Maklari of Mount Pocono; son, Stephen James Maklari also of Mount Pocono; sisters, Marie Hansen and her husband, Eric of Staten Island, Joann Benedetto of New Jersey, and Patricia Houdak and her husband, Steve also of New Jersey, and extended family members.
