Longtime Staten Islander Stanley F. Marshall, 59, of Richmond, an oil tank engineer, died Tuesday in Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze.

The Brooklyn native was a young boy when he moved with his family to Huguenot. He also lived in Tottenville and Charleston before moving to Richmond in 2015.

He attended Tottenville High School.

Mr. Marshall worked for 30 years as an oil tank engineer at Island Environmental Services in Long Island City.

He was very hardworking, his family said. In his leisure time he enjoyed watching movies and playing video games.

Surviving are his mother, Jean Marshall; his brothers, Charles and James, and his sisters, Claudia Alois, Aimee Maratta and Mary Marshall.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
