Robert Howard McIntire, 96, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away August 13, 2021 after a long and rewarding life.
Born in New Hampshire in 1925, Bob entered the United States Navy on September 18, 1942 to begin a 21 year long career in the service. He was the ultimate man's man and was respected for his knowledge by all who encountered him.
In 1944, Bob walked into an ice cream parlor in Brooklyn and met his wife Theresa. They married at The Church of Our Lady Perpetual Help on June 7th, 1944 and went on to have almost 70 years together before Theresa's passing in 2014. He is survived by his 7 children, Robert (Alice), James, Daniel (Patricia), Sheila (Dennis Moore), Theresa (Michael Henderson), Mary (Mark Hannan), and Thomas (Jennifer), 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
