Robert Goetz

Robert Goetz, 56, was called home to God on December 14, 2023. A loving and devoted husband to Christine Goetz, beloved father to Jennifer, Robert and Matthew and daughter-in-law Amanda. Loving and proud grandfather to Robert. Survived by his grieving brothers Anthony and Joseph Goetz. Predeceased by his brother John Goetz and parents Anthony and Madeline Goetz. 

A native New Yorker, Robert was born in Brooklyn. He was a hard working man, first working in Penn Station where he met his loving wife Christine at the age of 18. He commuted each day to work in Manhattan and later in New Jersey. He was devoted to his family and worked  hard to provide for his three children. As their children grew they enjoyed trips to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, attending the kids sporting and enjoying dinners out as a family. He would always come home with sweets and took joy in sharing things that everyone enjoyed. He especially loved spoiling their dog Schnitzel with love and treats and now shares that same love with their kitten Halo. He most recently embarked in the joy of becoming a grandfather. He loved Robbie so much, getting him more toys than he could ever play with, watching their favorite show and sharing visits until his very last day . He was an exceptional man whose absence will be felt by all he loved.
