Rita Moog
September 24, 1925 — October 19, 2018
Rita Moog was born in Grant City and moved to Tottenville as young girl. She attended Our Lady Help of Christians School and St. Louis Academy. After graduating high school, Rita began a career at Chase Manhattan Bank where she worked as a teller for over 40 years, retiring in 1991. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Help of Christians, where she was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society. She was a resident of Sunrise Senior Living on Staten Island for the past five years. Rita enjoyed swimming especially at the South Shore Swim Club where she was an original member. She also enjoyed reading and praying the Rosary. Rita is survived by her nephews, Michael and Peter Moog and their familes. She is also survived by her godson, Charles Sauss.
