Rita Gaeta

Rita B. Gaeta (nee Caruselle), 83, died on Jan. 14, 2017. Born in Staten Island, N.Y., she was a lifelong resident of West Brighton, Staten Island.
A graduate of Notre Dame Academy High School, she later attended Drake Business School and was a bookkeeper for Arthur Puccio, accountant, for 35 years. Rita was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society for 35 years.
Rita was the spouse of Anthony J. Gaeta, who passed away in 1979. She is survived by her children, Michael, Karen, and John, and by six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Marie and Joan.
In lieu of flowers, make donations to the American Cancer Society .
A Mass will be held at Sacred Heart R.C. Church today, Monday, Jan. 16, at 11 a.m. followed by a repast luncheon at The Staaten.
