Richard A. Martin

Richard A. Martin, 72, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2024.

Born in 1951 in Brooklyn, Richard Martin is the beloved husband of the late Donna (nee McKeon).

 He is survived by his daughter Danielle, her husband James, and his three grandchildren, Gregory, Logan, and Taylor.  Richard is the dear brother of Janice and Geraldine, and brother-in-Law of Linda, John, and Mike. He is also the uncle of many cherished nieces and nephews.

 Rich was very dedicated to both his family and profession. Working as a pharmacist for 45 years, first at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and then at Staten Island University Hospital South, from which he recently retired.

 An avid model railroader, Richard was a member of the Igglemeisters and long time Treasurer for the SI Society of Model Railroaders. He enjoyed hosting and attending weekly train gatherings.

 His true passion was spending time with family. Rich always looked forward to their vacations and holidays together. He was a kind-hearted and loyal friend to many. Richard will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
