Carolyn Aida Leary, 45, a lifelong Staten Islander and Cancer Warrior, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 3rd. Carolyn, who was known by and loved to be referred to as "Princes Carolyn," loved always to be surrounded by family and friends, as a matter of fact, when looking for photos of Carolyn, there was not one that was not a group photo.
Carolyn graduated from Hudson Area School of Radiologic Technology in 1999. She became the youngest ever Senior X-Ray and Ct scan technologist at Staten Island University Hospital's South site, where she worked for ten years.
Carolyn loved learning and speaking multiple languages. She spoke fluent Spanish, honing her Spanish dialect from her Abuela, aka "Bebe." A lover of music, Carolyn could read sheet music and played the flute and piano.
To our beloved Princess Carolyn, Goodnight, my darling; God Bless you, sleep tight, may the angels be guiding you, have pleasant dreams.
