Loved music and making all around him laugh
Philip Pedagno Jr. passed away on Jan. 16, 2018. at home. He was 69.
Born in Brooklyn, he moved to Tottenville ,Staten Island 10 years ago. He was a baker. He graduated from Manuel H.S. in Brooklyn and served in the Vietnam War in the Army.
Philip sang in many DooWop groups throughout the years. He made friends wherever he went. He loved music, singing, telling jokes, and making all around him laugh. He loved to dance.
Philip was predeceased by his parents, Jean and Philip C. Pedagno. He is survived by his loving sister, Marianne Passalacqua, his two nieces, Letetia Omundsen and Gina Valentino, his nephew, Salvatore Passalacqua III, his five grandnephews, Shane Omundsen, Billy Sullivan, Joey Sullivan, Nick Celentano, Kyle Omundsen, and two grandnieces, Marianna Sullivan and Julianna Passalacqua.
Funeral from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home Monday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 am at Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
