Peter F. Kovak

Peter F. Kovak, 73, of Staten Island, New York, beloved husband, step-father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at Staten Island University South on March 3, 2025. 

Peter was born on March 6, 1951, the oldest child of Margaret Clancy and Peter A. Kovak. He graduated from Tottenville H.S., on Yetman Avenue at the time, in 1969. Peter followed in his father's footsteps and built a career of 40+ years with the Department of Education as a Custodial Engineer, finishing his career at P.S. 42 in Eltingville. 

Peter and his wife Barbara Kovak settled in Richmond Valley in 1989. He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara, step children Kim and Tommy, grandchildren Ryan, Brandon, Sarah, Katelyn and Haleigh, two brothers Kenny and Bobby, sister-in-laws Dorothy and Laurie as well as several nieces, nephews ands great nieces. Peter was very blessed to be loved by many.
