STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Patricia Ann Rodvansky, 74, of Richmond Valley, a retired bus matron and friendship club member, died Wednesday in Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze.
Born Patricia O'Leary in Brooklyn, she was brought to Staten Island as a child and lived in Oakwood. She moved to Richmond Valley in 1960.
Mrs. Rodvansky was a matron with Pioneer Bus Co., Charleston, for about 15 years. She retired in 1991.
She graduated from New Dorp High School.
Mrs. Rodvansky belonged to the Mount Loretto Friendship Club.
In her leisure time, she enjoyed visiting Atlantic City and reading. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her husband Robert, whom she married in 1990, died in 2006.
She is survived by two daughters, Kim Casey and Debra O'Shea; two sisters, Dorothy Mazzariello and Joan Suplee, and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, Tottenville. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
