Olympia Trocciola

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Longtime Annadale resident Olympia Theresa Trocciola, 93, a homemaker who will be remembered as strong willed and warm hearted, died Friday in Addeo House, Egbertville.

She was born Olympia Theresa Masino in the Greenwich Village section of Manhattan.

In 1970, she settled in Annadale.

Mrs. Trocciola worked as a ladies accessories finisher in Manhattan and left the workforce to become a homemaker.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting and cooking. She also loved spending time with her family.

Her husband of 65 years, Bruno, died in 2013.

She is survived by her sons, Robert, Richard and Dennis, and three grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
