Nancy A. Perricone, 66, of Tottenville died Saturday, November 5, 2022
A lifelong resident of Tottenville, Nancy graduated from Tottenville High School and the College of Staten Island. She worked at Simon & Shuster and Penguin Books before leaving the workforce to take care of her children.
There are two things Nancy loved more than anything: the Lord and her family. Nancy was a faithful member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church since she was a young girl and spent years serving as a lay leader, Sunday School teacher, and heading various committees. She also participated in and led an at-home Bible Study for many years that was dear to her heart. Nancy loved praising and serving the Lord in any way she could and using her gifts to help spread His love to others near and far.
Her family was her pride and joy, always making sure they knew she was thinking of them and loved each of them. She often did small things “just because” to brighten someone’s day. Her smile lit up any room and instantly comforted those around her.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Ralph; two children, Mark and Theresa; daughter-in-law, Lona; sister, Sally; brother, Paul; and her three grandchildren, Austin, Freyja, and Isla.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul’s Methodist Church https://saintpaulsumcsi.org/ OR World Vision, https://mycause.worldvision.org/campaign/In-loving-memory-of-Nancy-Perricone, in Nancy’s name would be appreciated.
