Nancy P. Garone

Nancy P. Garone, 91, passed away on February 15, 2025.

Nancy was born in Brooklyn, New York to John and Julia (nee:Tallarico) Antonelli.  She married Frank Garone on October 3, 1953 and they raised three beautiful children, Debra, Frank J., and Camille.  She worked for the NYC Department of Education as a Paraprofessional in P.S.18 and P.S. 29.  She retired from P.S. 29 on July 21, 2000.

Nancy became a Columbiette of the Fr. John C. Drumgoole Auxiliary on December 4, 1986.  She served as their Sentinel and Vice president.  She was the treasurer for the bowling league MisMates at Rabs Bowling Alley.  She enjoyed going to Atlantic City; the slot machines were her favorite.   She loved babysitting, spending time and cooking with her family. Nancy was famous for her meatballs, eggplant parmigiana, and sausage and peppers. 

Nancy was pre-deceased by her husband Frank; grandson, Jeffrey; many brothers and sisters.  She is survived by her  children, Debra (John) Santora, Frank J. (Phyllis) Garone,  Camille (Jeff) Capretta; sister-in-law, Catherine Antonelli; grandchildren, John Michael, Frankie, Nancy Marie, Matthew, Joseph; great grandchildren, Melody, Grayson, Dominic, Matthew, Dino.
