Nancy Ford, 58, of Rosebank, a waitress whose life revolved around her family, died Tuesday at home.

The lifelong Staten Islander was born Nancy Jacobsen and lived in Tottenville before settling in Rosebank in the early 1990s.

She worked for 12 years as a waitress at the Richmond County Country Club.

Mrs. Ford enjoyed cooking and gardening. She also enjoyed shopping with her daughter and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Tottenville.

Surviving are her husband of 17 years, James; her daughter, Melissa Ramos; her sisters, Linda Boyle, Deborah O'Leary and Kathleen Paparone, and two grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home. Arrangements include cremation.
