Mildred Marsh

Mildred Marsh (nee Mac Neill), 94, loving mother, beloved grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2019. The youngest of three siblings, Mrs. Marsh was born in Yorkville, Manhattan in 1924. She graduated from Julia Richman High School in Manhattan in 1941. She married the late John Marsh Sr. at St. Monica's Church, Manhattan in 1946. She moved to Graniteville, Staten Island in 1959.
Mrs. Marsh was a homemaker and a sales associate in the boy's department at J.C. Penney for 25 years, retiring in 1990. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her husband and friends at her condominium in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Mrs. Marsh was a parishioner of St. Anthony's of Padua Church in Travis.  She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and spending time with her beloved family.
Mrs. Marsh is predeceased by her husband John Sr., her son James, her brother Albert Mac Neill and her sister Gertrude Berard. She is survived by her daughter Janet Miller, her sons John Jr. and Joseph, her daughters-in-law Susan, Diane and Carmen, her nine grandchildren, Kimberly, Stacy, Carey, John III, Mandi, Keith, Jennifer, James and Carly, and her eight great-grandchildren.
