Michael J. Sullivan, 63, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted son, husband, father, brother, and friend, Michael left behind a legacy of warmth, perseverance, and unwavering love.
Born and raised on the North Shore of Staten Island, Michael was the eldest son of Michael and Doris Sullivan and older brother to Robert Sullivan. His passion for sports took root early, and he proudly served as the Captain of the Susan Wagner High School football team, playing all four years with heart and determination.
A natural leader, Michael built a successful telecommunications and consulting company alongside his two partners, channeling his intelligence and relentless work ethic into his career. But his greatest pride and joy came from his family. He married his beloved wife, Donna, and together they raised three incredible sons—Michael, Christian, and Brandt, which Michael passed down his athletic abilities to.
Although a lifelong Jets, Mets, and Islanders fan, Michael's favorite teams to root for were his sons. No matter the weather, no matter the distance, Michael never missed a game. Whether basking in the sun in his backyard with a cigar and a glass of Gentleman Jack, riding his bike with Donna across Staten Island, or strumming his beloved guitars to the tunes of The Beatles, Michael embraced life with passion and authenticity.
He found happiness in the simple things—traveling with Donna to Cape May in the summer, trips to Atlantic City, and spending time with his furry grand dog, Sully. Humble, witty, and kind, Michael had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He was a man of integrity, curiosity, and generosity, a Patriot who loved his country and a family man who led with love.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Donna Signa-Sullivan, his cherished sons, Michael, Christian, and Brandt, his mother Doris and brother Robert.
Michael's Spirit, Laughter, and Legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
