Matthew Stark

Matthew G. Stark, 62, of Staten Island, passed away suddenly on April 15, 2019.
Matthew was born to parents John and Grace on February 24, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York.  He was Director of Graphic Design and Production at Art Guild, Inc.
Matthew put his family above everything and cherished spending time with his wife, watching his sons play baseball, and doting on his granddaughter whom he adored. On any given day, he could be found working on home improvement projects, golfing, or rooting for the Mets.
Matthew was married to Joan in 1981.  He is survived by his wife Joan, his sons Matthew, Justin, and Jordan, daughter-in-law Stacey, granddaughter Jocelyn, mother-in-law Mary, sisters Diane, Patricia, and Grace, and siblings-in-law Joseph, Thomas, Mary Ann, Anne Marie, Carol, Joseph, and Tony.  He was predeceased by his parents and brother John.
Visitation services will be held at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Friday, April 19 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.  A funeral blessing will be held on Saturday, April 20 at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church on Staten Island at 10 am.  Entombment will follow the funeral service at Resurrection Cemetery in  Staten Island.
