Mary Ellen Malloy

Mary Ellen, 67, of Staten Island and New Jersey, passed away on September 6, 2021.

She was born in N.Y.C. on Jan 12, 1954. She graduated from St. Joseph-by-the-Sea H.S. and also Grace Institute in NYC. She also attended Pace University.

Mary Ellen had a long career with AT&T.

She is predeceased by her parents and her brother Brian Malloy. Mary Ellen is survived by her sister, Maureen Mazzaglia, her husband and children, Vincent, Gavin, and Trevor, Brother, James Malloy, Sister Eileen Carbone and her husband and children, George, Katie, Richard, Mary Ellen, Kevin, and Sarah, Sister-in-law Bonnie Malloy and her children Christopher and Matthew, Sister Deirdre Gorman, her husband and children, William, Meaghan, Amanda, and Christine. Other family members include spouses of her nieces and nephews and twelve great-nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, travel, movies, reading, and her dogs.

Mary Ellen's generous and loving spirit defined her; she had an amazing sense of family and was deeply loved by them in return.

Funeral from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Help of Christians at 11:00 a.m. Interment of ashes to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Family and Friends may visit Thursday, September 16th, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
