Mary Migliaccio

1923-2022

Mary Migliaccio, 98, passed away on August 1st, 2022 in Freehold, NJ, with her daughter Cynthia by her side. Mary was born on December 29th, 1923 in Manhattan, NY, daughter of Anastasia and Thespina Manaras, and sister to Katherina Manaras. She went on to marry Ralph A. Migliaccio and became the loving mother of four children, Christopher Curiale,  Virginia Ania, Gregory Migliaccio, and Cynthia Gilman. She was “Nana” to her 8 grandchildren, Christopher Jr, Laurie, Jeffrey, Natalie, Vienna, Gregory, John, Jack, and her 9 great grandchildren.

She spent most of her life living in Brooklyn, NY where she cared for her family. She looked after her grandsons “Johnny and Jacky” as her own, and the special bond she had with them only grew stronger throughout the years. She moved to Freehold New Jersey about 20 years ago, where she would spend the rest of her years alongside her youngest daughter Cynthia, who took loving care of her each day.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, son Gregory, and daughter Virginia, who she is at rest with now.

To know Mary was to love her, she was authentic, proud of her large family, known as a major shopaholic, and her favorite thing to do was cook big meals to gather the family. She will be sadly missed.
