Mary Ferguson

Mary Ferguson, 76, of Prince's Bay, a retired bank employee who enjoyed being active and with her family, died Sunday at home.

The Rosebank native was born Mary Starrantino. She had lived in Prince's Bay for 51 years.

A graduate of New Dorp High School, she worked as a mortgage clerk at Richmond County Savings Bank.

Mrs. Ferguson was a member of the Staten Island Mall's Walkie-Talkies Group.

She enjoyed reading, travel and spending time with her family.

George J., her husband of 27 years, died in 1987.

Surviving Mrs. Ferguson are her sons, Steven, David and Gregory; her daughters, Laura Sacchi and Kristine Ferguson; her sister, Loretta Pecoraro, and eight grandchildren.

The funeral will be Tuesday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church, Huguenot. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, N.J.
