Mario Joseph Coniglione, 57, loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on May 20th from Polycythemia and COVID-19 at Staten Island University Hospital. Mario lived his life in Tottenville, and attended Saint Bernadette's School and Tottenville High School. In his early years of adulthood, Mario was a stockbroker, and most recently worked at DBA Elite Office Interiors.
Mario will always be remembered for his sarcasm and quick wit that always kept people laughing. He loved cars, all types of music, most specifically early rock, freestyle, and heavy metal, and loved sports but his favorites were football and wrestling.
Mario was a selfless person who always put others before himself and more than anything loved his daughter, Arianna above all else.
Mario is survived by his loving daughter, Arianna, her boyfriend Dante Bevere, his parents, Agnes and Vincent Coniglione, brother Vincent and wife Jennifer Pla Coniglione and sister Maria and husband Ralph Barba, niece Amber Barba, two nephews, Anthony Barba and Vincent Coniglione and ex-wife and good friend, Sheri Lopa.
Funeral from Bedell-Pizzo on Monday at 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Help of Christians RC Church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection.Friends and Family may visit Sunday, from 3 to 6 p.m.
