Marietta Sciascia

Marietta Sciascia, 86, passed away on November 18, 2023 surrounded by her family.  

Marietta was born in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph and Cecelia Caravella.    She loved spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed playing Bingo, Canasta, and Mah jong, and loved taking trips to Atlantic City and Parx Casino.  Marietta especially enjoyed cooking and baking and she was famous for her seven layer cooklies.

Marietta is pre deceased by her son, John and her sister, Rosalie Spina.  She is survived by her husband, Charles; son, Joseph; daughters-in-law, Lynne and Christina; grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary, Brett, Zoie, and John; brother, Vincent Caravella.
