Marie Di Dio

Marie "Honey" Di Dio, age 92, passed away peacefully at home on June 28, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the daughter of Gussie and Luigi Bellera and she was the youngest of six children.

Honey was the beloved and adored wife of the late Frank Di Dio, who was the love of her life.  She is survived by her two devoted sons, Frank and Dennis, her daughter-in-law, Barbara, her grandchildren, Frank and Lauren, and her great-grandchildren, Brielle and Mia.  She is also survived by her cherished sister, Jean Puntorieri, and her beloved nieces, Joan Curti, Janet Mandile, and the late Jean Columbia, who all lovingly called her their second Mom.  Honey also had many other adoring nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Honey retired to Las Vegas, where she resided for twenty-three years before moving back to Staten Island, New York with her sister, Jean six years ago.  She loved reading and doing puzzles and adored all the little kids when they came to visit.  Family was everything to her.  She will be terribly missed by all who came to know her and she will never be forgotten.
