Marie Benvenuto

Marie (nee: Calabrese) Benvenuto was  born on December 26, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York . She married Thomas Benvenuto on April 7, 1951. They were married for 50 years. They lived in Staten Island in Tottenville, from 2000 to the present time.

Marie peacefully passed away on June 23, 2024 at Eger Nursing Home surrounded by people she loved. She had many titles: wife, sister, Mom, Nanny, Granny and Crazy Aunt Marie.

 Marie had two daughters, Betty Ann Hollingsworth and Lisa Chappe, Son in Law, Scott Chappe. She had 4 grandchildren, Angela Saraceni, James Hollingsworth, Nicole Zuccaro, Alyssa Deputron. She had 3 great grandchildren Nicholas Saraceni, Liam Zuccaro, Aria Nicole Deputron. 

 Marie was full of life, love and laughter. Her favorite things to do were to be with her family. Her red wine (merlot) mixed with soda was her favorite drink to share with her family and friends. She always made everyone laugh with her antics and crazy stories. Most of the time she was the focus of all the jokes which she loved because she would be the center of attention. Marie touched many hearts that will deeply feel her absence but her legacy will live on through her family.
