Margaret McGowan

Margaret Peggy McGowan, 49, of Tottenville died on July 18, 2016, in Cancun, Mexico.
Born Margaret Paramithis, she lived in Tottenville her whole life and graduated from Tottenville High School.
She was a postal clerk with the U.S. Postal Service. Peggy enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, N.J., and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Stephen; her children, Stephanie McGowan, Bryana Ricci, Kelly McGowan; her mother, Catherine Paramithis; her brothers, George, John, Greg and Peter Paramithis. She is also survived by two grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Silvermount Cemetery.
Friends may visit Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home. -
