Mamie Natale

Mamie (nee Pizzo) Natale, 96, died peacefully at Addeo House Hospice on April 12, 2016. She would have turned 97 on May 16.
Born on Staten Island, N.Y., and raised in New Brighton, S.I., Mamie worked as a seamstress and sample maker for Sherwood Fashions in Manhattan.
Like her Mom and Dad before her, she was the glue that held the family together. She was a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews and was inspirational in giving to others.
She was married to Anthony Natale for 36 years until he passed away in 1984. She is survived by her siblings, Lucy Barracato, Fred (Ann) and Dr. Edward W. (Barbara), and her sister-in-law, Frances.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, Rocco, Vincent (Bubbie) and George.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Ann's R.C. Church on Friday, April 15, at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday, April 14, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mamie's name to Addeo House Hospice would be appreciated.
