Madeline Padula

February 18, 1930 — January 6, 2025

Madeline Padula ,94, passed away on January 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and devotion.

Born during a time of great change, Madeline grew up with a strong sense of determination and perseverance. She graduated from high school, a remarkable achievement during an era when education was a privilege. Madeline survived the Great Depression, a testament to her resourcefulness and adaptability.

Madeline's greatest joy was her family. She married the love of her life, Joseph, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Tragedy struck when her husband suffered injury from an accident, but Madeline's love and devotion only grew stronger. For over 40 years, she selflessly cared for him, dedicating herself to his well-being and happiness.

Madeline's heart was always open to those in need. She and her husband adopted a baby boy, whom they raised with love, kindness, and generosity. Her son, Jody, was the center of her universe, and she was incredibly proud of the man he became.

In addition to her many passions and interests, Madeline generously dedicated her time to giving back to her community. She devoted 10 years to volunteering at the local library. She also actively volunteered with her son's Cub Scouts troop, supporting the development of young minds and character. Her selfless spirit and kindness touched countless lives.

Madeline's love extended to her entire family. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph; brother, Ronald; sisters-in-law, Ann and Lorraine.

She is survived by her son, Jody; her daughter-in-law, Carmela; her two grandchildren, Tanya and Jay (Dana); and her two great-grandchildren, Vienna and Capri; her brother, Robert.  Her nieces, nephews and godchildren will also deeply miss her.
