Louise Ombres Scotti passed away peacefully in her home on Aug. 31, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
She is survived by her three sons, Joseph, Robert and David, and five grandchildren, Kimberly, Stephen, Michael, Kristen and Brandon.
Born in Brooklyn, Louise and her late husband, Tony, lived on Staten Island for over 50 years. They opened a Subway sandwich shop in 1974. Thereafter, they worked with franchise owners to develop additional stores in Staten Island and New Jersey.
Louise was loved by her family and friends, who remember her as a warm, generous, hardworking and fun- loving woman. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Service is Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home. Cremation is private. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m.
