Lorraine Sprague

Lorraine “Peggy” Sprague, 86, of Southampton, NJ, passed away on January 6, 2022. Born in Tottenville, Staten Island, a graduate of Tottenville High School, she lived most of her life in Princess Bay, Staten Island, before moving to Southampton, NJ.

Peggy enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, yard sales, and the beach, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late David, who passed away in 2003, Peggy was a devoted & loving mother to her 5 children, David, Nancy (Henry) Weber, Judith (Walter), Horan, Lorraine (Latty) Cannon, & Thomas. Dearest sister to William & Charles Anderson, Elsie Troland, Pamela Florio, and the late James, Michael & Bruce Anderson, Shirley Mara, Elona Paul, Charlene Gorman & Janice D’Andrea. Peggy was the cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren, Cherilyn, Stephanie, Ashley, Katharine Sprague, Wally & Eric Horan, Audrey Cannon, Gwynn Weber & the late Lorraine Sprague and treasured great grandmother of 3.

Peggy was loved and admired and will be missed by all that knew her.

Funeral from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 11 at 10:30 am following a blessing in the funeral home at 10 am. Friends may visit Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
