Lillian Albanese, 83, of Tottenville, a former buyer who enjoyed listening to music, died Monday at home.
Born Lillian Setler in Brooklyn, she came to Staten Island in 1996, settling in Tottenville.
Mrs. Albanese was a buyer for Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, Brooklyn, for 26 years. She retired in 1995.
She was a graduate of Franklin K. Lane High School, Brooklyn.
In her leisure time, Mrs. Albanese liked to listen to music. She also loved spending time with her family.
Everyone was drawn to her, said her family. She gave her ear to everyone.
She is survived by a son, Joseph; a daughter, Carolyn Albanese; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, with a mass Friday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, both Tottenville. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains.
