Lena Arabia

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Longtime Brooklyn resident Lena Arabia, 93, of Rossville, died yesterday in Sea View Hospital Rehabilitation Center and Home, where she had been a patient for the past two months.


Born in Brooklyn Lena Galdorisi, she moved to Rossville in 2005.


A homemaker, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed preparing large Sunday dinners, and her specialty was lasagna.


She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Rossville.


Her husband of 46 years, Alfred, died in 1982.


Surviving are a son, Dominick; three grandchildren,Ronald Arabia,Dominick Arabia,Jr. & Leann Angelone and six great-grandchildren.


The funeral will be Saturday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in Holmdel (N.J.) Cemetery.
