Laura Lloyd Hensch, 96, passed away on November 10th at Staten Island University Hospital surrounded by her close-knit family. Laura served in World War II as a US Army Nurse and continued her career at the VA Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, William Sr. in 2011. Laura will be greatly missed by her loving sons and their families, William (Carol) and Thomas (Mary Ellen), cherished grandchildren Tommy (Rudy), Megan, Katie and Billy and her first great grandchild arriving in December; her beloved nieces, Barbara Wade, Beth Loquosto and Nancy Krause LaNunziata and lifelong friend Mrs. Dorothy Moore and her extended family.
