Kathryn Indellicati, 81, of Tottenville, a retired retail clerk and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Saturday in Golden Gate Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Meiers Corners.
Born and raised Kathryn Schroeder in Manhattan, the longtime Staten Islander lived in Castleton Corners for 60 years before moving to Tottenville in 2009. She entered the nursing home eight months ago.
Mrs. Indellicati worked at Charlie's Clothing, Castleton Corners, until retiring in 2005.
She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy! on television and reading the Staten Island Advance. She also enjoyed scratch-off lottery tickets, visits to Atlantic City and playing online games, including solitaire and Candy Crush.
Mrs. Indellicati loved spending time with her family.
Her husband, Alvin, died in 2006.
Surviving are her sons, Alvin and Joseph; her daughters, Donna Smith and Lucretia and Marie Indellicati; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
The Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, is handling arrangements, including cremation.
