Kathleen LaComb

Kathleen Kathy LaComb (nee McCarthy), 81, passed away on Jan. 23, 2017, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Born in Staten Island, N.Y., Kathly was a lifelong Staten Island resident and had lived in Princes Bay for 30 years.. She graduated from Tottenville High School and was an admissions clerk at Richmond Memorial Hospital before retiring in 1982.
Kathly enjoyed bowling, dancing, arts and crafts and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Sue Zawacki, and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald LaComb, in 2005; her daughter, Linda LaComb-Elia, in 1999; and her siblings, Justin McCarthy and Joan Smith.
A service will be held in Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, 7447 Amboy Rd., on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Cremation will be private. Friends may visit Friday from 2 to
