Judith Reidinger-Burton, 71, a retired city police administrative aide who was devoted to her family, died Wednesday in Staten Island University Hospital, Prince's Bay.
She was born Judith McCormick in Brooklyn, where she graduated from St. Edmund's High School.
Ms. Reidinger-Burton also lived in Great Kills before settling in Prince's Bay.
She worked for 17 years as a city police administrative aide, retiring in 2014.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting, solving crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Ms. Reidinger-Burton was family-oriented and was loved by all who knew her, her family said. She will be deeply missed, they added.
Mrs. Burton was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church, Huguenot.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert Burton; her sons, Frank and Michael Reidinger; her daughters, Dawn Pietrunti and Jennifer Reidinger; her brother, Harold McCormick; her sister, Regina Stafford, and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday from the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville, with a mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Huguenot. Arrangements include cremation.
