Joyce DeForge

Joyce DeForge, 89, passed away on November 8, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born March 6, 1932 and lived in Charleston, Staten Island her entire life.    She Graduated from Tottenville High School.

Joyce enjoyed gardening, cooking, nature, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-niece and great-nephew.  Joyce was known for sharing gardening tips, cooking techniques, and recipes.

Joyce enjoyed spending time at their house in Vermont where she would spend time fishing, boating, and visiting with family.

Joyce was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Robert DeForge, Sr. who she was married to for 52 years. She was also pre-deceased by her brother, Charles Young.

Surviving is her loving son, Robert DeForge Jr., his wife Linda DeForge; her cherished grandchildren, Robert DeForge, III, and Dana DeForge.

She is the beloved aunt of Charles Jr., Barbara, and Robert Young, and great aunt of Daniella and Michael Young.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in the Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, Tottenville. Burial will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Oakwood.
