Joyce Bishop

Joyce Ruth Biller Bishop, age 85, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, formerly of Tottenville, Staten Island, New York passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017. She was born May 27, 1932 in Tottenville, Staten Island, New York to the late Crawford Robert Biller and Evelyn Ruth Mesbeth Biller. She was a retired school teacher, she taught special education at Bayou Meto Elementary, UAMS, Easter Seals, and numerous other schools. She was dedicated to teaching her students. She travelled the world with her husband, they spent years sailing all over, she also enjoyed snow skiing and lived by the motto "Life A Grand Adventure." In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Ronald and Robert Biller.




She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lt. Col. James W. Bishop, her two sons, Blair W. Bishop of Tennessee, Brian W. Bishop of Texas, and one sister Linda Krakower.
