Joseph Arnone

January 17, 1952 — August 2, 2021

Joseph Charles Arnone, "Joe", age 69, of Whiting, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2021.  Joe was born in New York, N.Y. on January the 17th, 1952 to the late Frank and Eleanor (Cacase) Arnone.

Joseph is lovingly survived by his wife, Maria (Battista) of 31 years, his eldest son, Joseph Arnone, daughter, Regina (Arnone) Kravitz, and son Antony Battista, brother, Frank Arnone, late brother, Vinny Arnone, and sister, Gloria (Arnone) Klos; as well as six grandchildren that were his pride and joy- Eddie, Cayla, Joey, Lila, Anthony, Jr., and Sienna.

Joe attended high school in Brooklyn at Franklin K Lane and spent most of his life in Brooklyn and Queens until moving to Staten Island in the early nineties, and finally residing in Whiting, NJ five years ago.

Joe was a kind soul who always charged forward in life.  He loved his family and friends dearly.  He was also known as the "Candy Man", as he owned and managed a candy sales business for many years on Staten Island.  Joe loved a good laugh and time well spent with those he cherished.

Funeral from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Monday at 9:30 am.  A Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church at 10:15 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Friends and family may visit on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
