John Lubniewski, Jr

John Lubniewski, Jr. of Tottenville, Staten Island, N.Y., died at home on May 12, 2016, due to complications of diabetes. Born in Staten Island, John lived in Tottenville all his life.
He was a graduate of Curtis High School and later worked as a dispatcher for Insurance Associates of America in their New Jersey office. John enjoyed working on cars, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his son, Johnathan. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Tottenville.
John is survived by his son, Johnathan; his daughter, Destiny; his father, John, Sr.; his brother, Timothy, and sister, Cindy. John's mother, Laura, died in 2008.
Visiting hours will be Monday, May 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home, 7447 Amboy Road, Tottenville.
Pastor Matthew Schaeffer will officiate at the funeral service on Tuesday, May 17, at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow at Rosehill Crematory, Linden, N.J.
